JOURNEY THERE (KOFFIA 2026)

Description

A spring day, with cherry blossoms raining down like snow. Chun-hee (KIM Hye-ok) moves into an old apartment close to the hospital. Some problems arise in the process of moving her grand piano into her apartment, so Min-jun (Justin H. MIN) who lives on another floor suggests leaving it in his place. Min-jun, an adoptee who grew up in Germany, currently works as a conductor, and he has come to Korea in search of his birth mother. While waiting for news of his birth mother, Min-jun teaches piano to Chun-hee and encourages the orphaned Seong-chan (PARK Dae-ho) in his dreams of becoming a pianist. Chun-hee decided to leave this world on the same day and hour as her husband. The two of them had been waiting for the date of their assisted suicide. But as can happen with death, due to an unexpected accident her husband passes away first
