The program includes inspiring documentaries, captivating stories, dramas, animation, and a blend of contemporary and traditional storytelling dedicated to bringing communities together to celebrate culture and foster meaningful conversations with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The curated program is rolled out across South Australia, reaching regional venues and communities, from cinemas and country halls to outdoor theatres. Nunga Screen also includes films suitable for primary school-aged students and up. Curated exclusively from First Nations filmmakers, or those who have worked in collaboration with First Nations writers and directors, Nunga Screen is an opportunity to experience stories from diverse perspectives. Nunga (Aboriginal people of southern South Australia) Screen is presented by Country Arts SA.
